About MeHello!
My name is Temeia Williams. I am originally from Michigan but raised in Richmond, Virginia. Despite being raised in Richmond, I still consider myself a Michigander. Growing up in Richmond, I attended Henrico County Public Schools and later graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in English Literature (Go RAMS). After graduating from VCU, I received my teacher certification from Virginia Union University. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and a proud Girl Scout - yes I'm my daughters Troop Leader! Before relocating to Charlotte, I taught Language Arts for seven years at Richmond Community High School in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to that, I taught for several years at various schools in the district. This is my third year at South Meck High School and I’m thrilled to be a part of the amazing 9th grade English team. I am especially happy to be located in the freshly built F building. Aside from teaching, I enjoy spending quality family time with my husband and two beautiful daughters. Currently, I am reading one of my favorite authors, J. California Cooper. Lastly, I am in Grad School! I plan to complete my program in 2020. I attend UNCC. |
